Hello All,
I am new to the site, but look forward to reading much more and introducing myself properly. :-)

My current dilemma: I will be having some of my fractal artwork exhibited in a local art gallery starting in September. (Which is awesome)  I got the space and show in the gallery based on my portfolio of 8x10 prints of my artwork. I want to make sure I get the best possible prints done of my pieces, but I am on a somewhat limited budget (which takes out the local printers.). So I am trying to determine the best online print site for quality. I have a deviantart site, and I have gotten prints from them before of my photographs, but not at large sizes. I have been pretty happy with those.  I am thinking about doing their canvas fine art prints, but I am just not sure if I should stick with paper instead. The prints I used for my portfolio have all been printed on my printer, and the quality is great-- but it is simply is not made to do large prints.

So, I am hoping you lovely people may have some suggestions. Or should I just go with deviantart?

thanks!! :-)

I've not used the dA print service, so I can't comment on them.  I use EZprints (ezprints.com) and have for years.  They do great work at low prices.  They've been around for a while (anything longer than 1.5 hours is long in internet time  smiley ) and originally dealt with photographers only, so they know about printing.  Of course, it's a photo-based print method, so you won't get the resolution that you would with a Lambda printer, but it's much less expensive.  My images aren't as color-critical as some other folks', so you may want to work with them on color correction if that's important to you.

Thanks for the response! I will check the site you suggested. Of course, I just want things to turn out 'perfect', so that I am able to work with this gallery again. tongue stuck out

I've just started to use posterXXL.com. They offer a variety of materials. On forex covered with plexiglas gives a nice result, but I would not not recommend direct print on Alu-dibond : very fuzzy result despite the high res picture.

Anymore feedbacks on high quality prints in large sizes? Is the best solution to simply make prints on high quality photo paper then frame it yourself? Just in case one day I exhibit in a gallery, I need to start a collection smiley

Simple question: imagine I want to print an image done in Mandelbulb3D on a large format. Should I better use the version in 6000x4000 with no anti aliasing or the one in 3000x2000 with 2x2 AA??

I think 6000x4000 no anti-aliasing. If you're at a distance your eyes will blend the pixels together anyway. And if you do look close you'd pick out some more details at 6000x4000.

I didn't read through all the responses to your question, but I recently found myself in the same situation.
After lots of research and interviewing printers, I decided to go with http://redipix.com
Awesome prices and great options. Let me know if you're interested or need more information on them.

*************UPDATE*******************

Just an update on this...service went downhill fast and prices have increased greatly since I've posted this. Look for someone else...
