It changes Julia coordinates based on a map which is similar to a normalmap for three dimensions.

Imaginable parameters are: Strength, projection type (sphere, cylinder, plane), offsets, scales and rotations

Could be interesting, especially if it comes up with an option for _rotate

16bit per channel support would be great. cheesy

Any ideas?

Sorry that i bring up this question again, but i just have to give it another try

Imagine you are animating and morphing the amazing surface only by Julia values. Wow ... And now imagine you could "lay down" this interpolated values as a simple gradient plane which is mapped to the surface. If you now move from one side to the other, it would be like a time-travel through a solid fractal.

Like Rutger Hauer in Bladerunner once said: I've seen things you people wouldn't believe ...
And I say: We all do. Imagine all the varies in one shape.

I'd just like to know if this is theoretically possible.

Thanks for answers
