Nice one guys smiley I had one of my fractal animations playing in Times Square last year too. It's good fun smiley

WOW, how did you manage to do that?

As to my image shown in Art Takes Times Square, funny enough the same image as been used as the poster for a local fractal exhibition currently taking place in the library of the University of Calais, France:

I was contacted by the company that runs the news kiosks around the square. They have about 8 of them with these 72" screens: http://twitpic.com/48fso3 Not like the big billboards, but closer to the people on the street. I had my Surface Detail animation playing for about a month - never got any leads from it though. Makes you wonder how effective the paid advertising is on these...

I'm not surprised! I did the cover image for the maths fair 2012 in Paris. The flyer was printed and distributed in 20000 copies, the large poster in 400 copies in the métro, booklets also thousands of copies, all with my name and website on it. I got zero lead cheesy cheesy

Hi bib,

well done in actually getting shown.

I too didn't work hard enough - but I guess I was a little sceptical of what leads those 5 seconds (especially for those who paid) would bring in, lost amongst the whole show.

I hope it brings you something.
