Hi there!

I thought it'll be a great idea to collect some demoscene videos which show off fractal-related content. What do you think?

To start things, here is this nice demo by orb & andromeda from 2008 which features nicely iterated menger sponges:

Cool animation, as much Donnie Darko as Menger Sponge

i found it pretty cool, considering the speed it runs with =)

did someone spotted some scene-videos featuring fractals, too?
would be cool to have a small selection here.

Very fascinating.

In fact the demo scene never has lost any of its fascination back in the early days (Amiga / Atari). The technology has advanced - yet people manage continue pushing its limits.

I've found nice demo (I'm not sure if it was mentioned earlier) with live fluid simulation and mandelbulb landscape: http://www.farbrausch.com/prod.py?which=175

that fluid simulation is pretty cool, would be interesting how it looks with even more metaballs =)
i'm not really sure, but it looks like they work with volumetric fractal noise in that spacescene, could be many textures as well.
and that mandelbulb flight in the end is simply beautiful.
