Terry W. Gintz has created a free trial version of the Fractal Imaginator (FI) that is limited in image size to 320X240 and 3D object export precision is fixed at 300 steps. This is available for download via a link on the FI product page at
www.mysticfractal.com/fractalimaginator_trial.htm

Wonderful, maybe this could be a file to start - its free for use and works fine with the version here, where I had a test this evening
