This is an animation of a 2d circle intersection fractal I discovered while experimenting with some collision detection algorithms.

The 3d comes from extracting intersections of spheres instead of circles. Well, actually I just turn the two spheres into two stacks of circles and use the same 2d algorithm to detect intersections between them.

Sorry for the "lag" in the animation, I did this with a screen capture program.
