Description: Lotus imagery is prominent in Buddhist art because the way the beautiful, pure flower grows out of dirty pools of mud is a metaphor for enlightenment.  I was surprised to come across a lotus in this zoom of a Buddhabrot.

Depicted in this rendering is the head and shoulders of the meditating Buddha with a glowing lotus in front dripping dew down into the empty nothingness that the seeker of enlightenment attempts to find below.

This was rendered with my own software.

Reminds me of those clouds people see before an earthquake just a bit more dramatic. Or the aurora borealis' when there is a sun flare on steroids.

Very spiritual!  I'm going to have to look into "buddhabrots. "I was surprised to come across a lotus in this zoom of a Buddhabrot."  I think that's the best part of playing with fravtal srt.. the surprises, or I say "stumble-upons.
