I call the loop in the area around the two blue dots "Box Attractor".
A Box Attractor is a good place to start investigation in all variants of the Mandelbox.

I particularly enjoyed the last one -- and the face that appears in the middle, towards the top, between the two 'caverns.' Kind of looks like mid-14th century depictions of northern-European kings. So, the 'box can do primitive cave drawings...is there anything it can't do?

A zoom into the attractor net. The net flows around a spiral.
I will compute a zoom into the two pictures of the kings at the weekend.

And here is a scene with 170 and 570 iterations. It is interesting to find a closed bridge which opens at higher iterations.
(Sorry, scale is a little bit smaller than 1.04, but I don't want to start a new thread).

And here a typical structure at the border of the attractor. Done with Mandelbulber.
