I've been working hard on improving the transparency side of rendering, also on a filter to soften the less dense regions while preserving the detail of the denser areas.

Both come at a performance cost, but preliminary images look really good, so it's going to be worth it.

I expect to be posting some stills by this weekend, and hopefully some more animations within a week or two.
